Walk with us on the Amsterdam's Culinary Tour where we will show you a lot of what Amsterdam has to offer in terms of gourmet! We would like you to determine for yourself how sweet Dutch cuisine tastes!

Did you also know that Amsterdam is a city with a rich tradition of many culinary regions? And we at Mokum would like you to taste these! Literally and figuratively!

Depending on the season (enquire about the possibilities!) we will first take you to a true and true chocolate magician! This is where you will see, smell, feel and taste how a raw cocoa bean is turned into a beautiful sweet. When the sun is high in the sky and temperatures are pleasant again, we will let you see, smell, feel and taste how the real Italian gelato is made, ranging from lemon-basil sorbet to pistachio ice cream.

Later on we will walk to an old cheese tasting place, where you will see how the real Dutch quality cheese is produced and matured. You will naturally also taste and judge a number of delicious cheeses, all this under the guidance of a professional cheese taster and a glass of port!

We will end this culinary tour in the centre of Amsterdam with a visit to a world famous tasting venue for handcrafted gins and liqueurs. Here you will be told about the rich tradition of distilling gin and liquor. And obviously you will also taste some of the delicious (Superior) gins, liqueurs with names such as Boswandeling and Volmaakt Geluk, but also fruit brandies and draft beers. And remember: tradition requires that you bow your head in honour of the first sip!

And, if after this walk you still want to and your waistline allows it, it will be possible to cook pancakes and eat these all together. Of course after you have decorated the pancakes with (Fair Trade) chocolate, Grand Marnier and whipped cream!
