Rembrandt Tour in Amsterdam
You probably heard of Rembrandt, the most wonderful creator of portrets and paintings in the 17th century. Join Mokum Event's Rembrandt Tour in Amsterdam.
During this tour you will learn all the details about this great master painter!
Rembrandt is of course the most famous Dutch painter. Although he was born in Leiden, he is inextricably bound to Amsterdam where he lived and worked from 1631 until his death in 1669. His life in Amsterdam and the masterpieces he created, happened exactly at the same time Amsterdam experienced its biggest boom.
This tour will take you to the places he lived and worked. The tour tries to visualize, in a chronological order, the progress in his life and art in the city of Amsterdam. We will also follow the story of his two biggest assignments, the Night Watch and the anatomic lesson of Jan Deyman.
A guided tour through the Museum Rembrandthuis; the only house and studio left of the famous painter Rembrandt van Rijn. When you wander through the 17th century rooms, you imagine yourself to be in Rembrandt's time for a while. Anyone who wants to get to know Rembrandt well will meet him in the Rembrandt house!
