"Mokum Events" invites you to Brasserie Harkema, located in a former factory building in the historic town centre of Amsterdam. This trendy establishment exudes the atmosphere of an authentic Paris Brasserie. A beautiful design, a great kitchen and quality service creates an extremely suitable meeting place.

09.00 am - 01.00 pm Meeting

The meeting area itself is very special; the Annex is exclusive and full of atmosphere. It consists of 2 separate rooms, which are suitable for groups of various sizes. The rooms have been very tastefully furnished and its style is characteristic of the famous Amsterdam School. The new design, lighting and original character of the rooms has been well preserved and completed as they should be.

All modern audio-visual facilities required by the business community are available in this Annex. For instance, access to the Internet, computer screens per table or a beamer per room.

01.00 pm - 02.00 pm Lunch

A luxurious and extensive sandwich lunch will be served in the afternoon in Brasserie Harkema.

02.00 pm - 04.30 pm Town Walk

A "Mokum Events" tour guide will meet you after lunch. The guide will take you for a great walk through the centre of Amsterdam. You will walk past many nice and interesting places of interest. Right through the centre of town, the Dam, along the nicest canals, the famous 9 streets, through the Jordaan and over the Leidseplein. Your knowledgeable guide will show and tell you all he knows about the oldest buildings, the narrowest alleys and lowest bridges. Our guide (and yours!) knows the former and to-days inhabitants of Mokum like nobody else does. He will share with you the nicest anecdotes. In short, you will get to know the real Mokum and its inhabitants!

04.30 pm - 06.00 pm Cocktail Workshop

You might feel that after this walk that it is time to relax and slump in a chair?No way, we won't do this!!!

We will combine business with pleasure with a Cocktail Workshop! "Shaken, not stirred". That is the way that James Bond tells us in many 007-movies how he prefers his Martini. This afternoon, you will learn that a real Martini does not come straight from the bottle; and will discover the best way to prepare it (shaken or stirred). Try to learn the various techniques and get to know everything about the great variety of ingredients.

You will then start mixing and making 3 (hopefully) tasteful cocktails with the help of your newly acquired knowledge. Your group will taste your cocktails. Of course, you may also drink them yourself?

You will receive, as a souvenir a nice small book. The various cocktails and methods of preparation are described in it.

06.00 pm - 08.00 pm Tapas Dinner

We will end the day with a 3-course tapas dinner. The most delicious Spanish/Mexican snacks and dishes will be served. Whilst you are relaxing in your chair you will relive and discuss the day with your table companions.

For desert, you can enjoy a Great Grand Desert. That is the way we aim to end the day.
