15.30 pm - 17.00 pm Leidseplein Tour

Experience the twinkling lights of the Leidseplein and surroundings in the pleasant company of a Mokum Events` tour guide . Our guide walks alongside you through the heart of Mokums' famous nightlife. See and be amazed by everything that breaths cultur in a few square kilometres. In addition to the many different pubs and small restaurants, located on and around the Leidseplein, you will also find the beautiful Municipal Theatre known as the Leidseplein Theatre.

This, together with the many (and sometimes very talented) street artists, makes the square one of the most beautiful, cosiest and most alive areas in Amsterdam and maybe in the whole world!

17.00 pm - 17.45 pm Visit to the House of Bols

After the tour at the Leidseplein we will take you to the house of Bols for a spectacular discovery trip in the world of cocktails and gin! This particular experience is done by means of "touch screens" and videos, is interactive and for the greater part, self-guiding. This guided tour starts with the birth of Lucas Bols in 1575 and ends in the Spiegelbar of the House of Bols where you will be welcomed with an original gin cocktail!

18.00 pm - 19.30 pm Cocktail Clinic

After having enjoyed the gorgeous gin cocktail you will be given the opportunity to prepare the most delicious cocktails, shake and muddle in the Bols Bartending Academy; Europe's biggest bar school. During the day, it is a very serious barkeeper school, but in the evening guests from Mokum Events can take a seat on the school benches and learn everything about the philosophy and techniques of preparing cocktails. Well yes, school benches... the Bartending Academy has more than 12 different bars where you can have a ball and put what you have learned into practice. Naturally, we will not let you get lost; you will be accompanied by an experienced shaker!
