Songwriting Workshop in Amsterdam

Write your own special song during the one and only Mokum Events' Songwriting Workshop in Amsterdam.

Behind every popular song there is a talented writer, someone who attaches the rhythm of language to the most beautiful melodies.

Guided by a professional you will get to know everything about this special but very important skill in the entertainment industry.

We will start with some explanation about the different ways of writing. Do you write when the music is already created or do you start to write the lyrics first? What´s the workflow used by the best singer-songwriters and which style of writing is suited for a specific style of music?

All details about writing for a song will be explained, perfectly suited for a fun day with friends who want to get involved in making music.

When you are finished writing we'll create a beautiful melody on guitar and accordion. Optionally you can create a video compilation of the workshop so you can watch this fun day on DVD at home. Or we can put the result directly on CD! Have lots of fun!
