Sailing Trip to Pampus near Amsterdam

Welcome on board of one of Mokum Events' real sailing ships, for a guided Sailing Trip to the island of Pampus near Amsterdam.

We will take you over the Markermeer and the IJmeer, to the fortified island of Pampus. In former times, this island has been specially designed to fend off all enemies of the city of Amsterdam!

The islands unique layout and character earned a place on the Unesco World Heritage List.

We will first have a cup of coffee with cake. Then, depending on the windconditions and weatherforecasts, plot our course and lift anchor. We will raise the sails as soon as we reached open water.

In the afternoon, we will moor and enjoy a nice lunch, prepared by the ship's cook. We will then raise sail again and continue our journey to State Monument Pampus. You will get a guided tour through this former fort island, learn more about its history and special meaning.

After the guided tour, we will have a drink on deck before lifting anchor, sailing back to our homeport.

This entire offer includes hiring the ship, the welcome reception with drinks and cake, lunch, snacks, 5 drinks from the Dutch Bar and last but not least, the guided tour on the island of Pampus.

(Pampus is closed on Mondays)
