Christmas Arrangement in Amsterdam

Peace on earth and happiness to mankind, that is what we want. And that's why Mokum Events offers you the Christmas Arrangement in Amsterdam.

But then not only peace and happiness at Christmas time! No, Mokum Events wishes you to enjoy every day a feeling of peace and wellbeing, in those dark days that are coming as well as in those that follow upon Christmas as they all lend themselves to this.

We invite you to take part in the ultimate winter's day tour from Mokum Events and to enjoy the great cosiness that makes this season so particular. A kind of Christmas get together; The Mokum Events Christmas feeling, as one might say but!

Coats and bonnets on!

12:30 - 13:00 Welcome with hot chocolate and apfelstrudel

To put you in the right mood, we will wait for you with a nice warm cup of hot chocolate with milk, cream and apfelstrudel. The best start to a wonderful day!

13:00 - 14:30 Skate

With full warm bellies we will go to the Leidseplein, where this winter there is a real ice track. This year it measures 20x18 metres and this is bigger than ever! We will all swing back and forth and whirl all together on the ice. Do not check yourself any longer, just let yourself go!

And if you do not have any skates with you, we will sort that out for you. Skating in the very heart of Amsterdam, in between the snack and drink stalls, tents and bars?! How wintry do you want it to be?

14:45 - 15:45 Winter Lunch

After having skated for an hour or so, it is time for lunch. Of course, we lunch in style, with warm pea soup, a drink and tasty bread croquettes. Mmmmmmmmm (just because of this you cannot miss this day?!) We give you the following advice: eat well, because the day is by far not over yet!

15.45 - 17:15 Winter Stroll

From the Leidseplein we walk through narrow alleys and via small bridges in the direction of the Wallen. While strolling, the lunch will sink in bit-by-bit and the sore leg muscles from skating can slowly recuperate.

We cannot guarantee anything, but imagine; yourself in the middle of a winter scene, as if this was painted by an old master. Strolling past snowed along the canals of Amsterdam, making slide tracks, throwing snowballs. Is winter not wonderful?

17:15 - 18:00 Tasting Liqueurs

Are your feet cold from walking? Wet hands from throwing snowballs? Of course, Mokum Events has an answer for this! We are taking you to a well-known tasting venue where the founder of, amongst others, Forest walk and Half and Half are to be found. We let you warm up by tasting liqueurs, you may taste various ones.

But no, we are not being funny, you do not have to spit it out straight away...but, you must make a bow before swallowing the first sip, tradition is tradition! After this, Hans will pick you up and bring you to the Wallen.

18:00 - 19:15 Warm Wallen Stroll

Warmed up from inside and outside, we are going to have a peep at the Wallen (where it NEVER seems to be cold?) with the Warm Wallen Stroll. Your guide will walk with you past the windows (watch out, the guide counts the number of the group after each window?!) where ladies without jerseys, coats and bonnets carry out their work. Not only are the ladies interesting, but also the surroundings of the Wallen are!

Your guide will tell you how Amsterdam and the Wallen came about and will leave you to enjoy the many monumental buildings, mysterious sculptures, hidden churches and Amsterdam's China town. Cold? Definitely not!

19:30 - 21:30 Cheese Fondue

At the end of this terrific day we still have a special end treat for you up our sleeve. We invite you for a tasty cheese fondue. In the middle of the Warmoesstreet in a restaurant dating from the year 1534. To just talk on, all together and to enjoy the tasty fondue and the terrific atmosphere.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow?!

Above mentioned times are only an indication

Don't you have the minimum number of people? If you are prepared to pay for the minimum number of persons, you may book for fewer persons!

Does ‘Mokum Events’ only speak and guide the events in Dutch, or are other languages also available?
Our guides speak several languages, so almost all trips, excursions, guided tours and arrangements can also be followed in various languages.
Our group is smaller than the minimum number of participants, can I still join the event?
Yes, you can. However, since we commit ourselves for a minimum number of participants, we request you to pay this minimum rate. Please, contact us in advance!
Where in Amsterdam do the arrangements start?
Many trips start in the vicinity of the Amsterdam Central Railway Station (CS), but this depends completely on the chosen arrangement. Our employees will advise you in advance about the right point of departure.
Is my requested date available?
Through our systems, we can immediately check if your requested arrangement is available on the planned date. If so, we’ll advise you to make a reservation as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointments.
At what time can I start the event?
You can specify this entirely according to you wishes! This will however partly depend on the chosen arrangement, but in principle the events start whenever you want them to start!
an we also join guided tours or workshops made by other groups?
No, unfortunately you can not. “Mokum Events” organises trips and arrangements exclusively for groups, completely tailored to specific desires. It’s for that reason other persons can’t join arrangements made by other groups of people.
Do the trips also take place in bad weather?
Definitely! If it rains, we also go into town! We can arrange rain ponchos and umbrellas if necessary and can stay in the pub a bit longer. Amsterdam is also beautiful if the weather is not soo nice, you can take our word for it!
How will we go from place “a” to place “b”?
Our guides will take you from one point to the other (unless you only have to cover for example 100 meters). You will always receive an itinerary so you will know where you have to go.

In general, all costs of a company trip are tax-deductible. However, only if these costs are reasonable according to the tax authorities. The treasury also states that 75% of all employees must be able to join the event. These 75% may however also consist of a certain part or division of the company.

Mokum Events does not use brochures or price lists. We love to involve you in designing the ideal arrangement. Custom-made trips, remember? That’s why we can’t quote fixed rates. After all, everything depends on your wishes and ideas! Our offer is a personal offer, based on all your choices.
When do we have to pay our custom-made trip or event?
We will send you an invoice in advance, which has to be paid in full, not later than 14 days after you have received the invoice at the latest.
