Is it your dream to be a DJ performing at big festivals such as 'Sensation' or 'Dance Valley'? Have the kind of success Tiësto and Armin van Buren already enjoy, performing for a giant audience and earn million dollar deals?

Mokum Events provides you with the opportunity to make the first steps on your the way to major stardom with our DJ Workshop located in Amsterdam. But, even if you just think it's fun to get noises out of sound equipment or if you are not experienced at all, we would be very pleased to welcome you. Nothing is impossible, even for the inexperienced!

Supervised by three professional DJ's ( DJ Dulac and DJ Chainsaw amongst others), we will scratch vinyl, mix a tune with CD's at the mixing console or do anything you prefer. You have the option of choosing the skills you want to learn. Every bit of music including sound effects is on stock, but you are welcome to bring your own material (vinyl/LP, Ipod or CD's).

You will get an elaborate explanation about the mixing console, using the different handles and buttons, and you will be presented with a 'scratching-performance'. Of course you will get the opportunity to scratch and mix for yourself.

As usual at the Mokum Events workshops, we will supply you with some drinks and snacks in the meantime!
