Merijn Kavelaars is a well-known artist in the Amsterdam art scene. Because he is a self-taught man he knows to create a colourful climax out of stylised emotion. No one knows the different techniques as well as Merijn , all to create wonderful and dynamical art. This workshop in Amsterdam is suited for every group of people who wants to be busy with titillating creations and who want to be inspired by his endless energy!

Your professional guide and artist will start with a small example of his own work and he will tell you something about it. Subsequently he will find out the reason why you have chosen this workshop and together you will think of an appropriate theme to sharpen your own action painting skills. Maybe this is a nice clue for a bachelor party, we are going to paint our thoughts about the two lovers! Merlijn knows his business when it comes to creating all kinds of original visuals which you are not ashamed to take home with you!

In the meantime you will be educated about the most recent techniques and he will teach you to create a masterpiece out of colours, lines and paint, which would not look silly in a museum! Merijn himself has rattled the cage of the art scene already with his 'vieze mannetjes' (dirty little men) and 'de familie snavel' (the pecker family)! Afterwards you just take the painting, put it under your arms and go home!
