Insurance
Mokum Events offers you the possibility to insure yourself and your event.
We offer you, in collaboration with “Europeesche Verzekeringen” the following two insurances:
- A cancellation insurance:
This insurance covers the damage that you will incur should you be forced to postpone or to cancel a booked outing. The costs of this outing will indeed be invoiced to you. Not only will you miss the outing due to bad luck but in addition also suffer a financial loss! Our cancellation insurance often compensates you up to 100% of these costs. The premium to be paid amounts to 7% of the price for the total event.

- A participants insurance:
We'd rather not think of it but the possibility always exists that something unpleasant happens during an event. Unfortunately also during a Mokum Events outing! This can be a torn piece of clothing, but it can also be (more) serious! An accident with possible injury leading to work incapacity, a permanent handicap or even death as a consequence thereof…
You may as organiser be held liable for the consequences thereof! You can, in order to minimise these (often heavy) financial consequences to you, enter into a participants insurance. The participants insurance covers the responsibility in the event of a physical bodily harm and damage to people's property. The premium amounts to € 1,00 per person per day.

Simple and safe method of payment
You can pay Mokum Events in various ways, for instance by using the invoice that is always attached to the confirmation of your Amsterdam outing. This invoice needs to be settled 7 days before the start of your Amsterdam Outing.
You may also opt to pay safely and simply with your credit card. There are however costs attached to this (Visa and Master card 3,8% + €0,15, Mister Cash: 2,5% + €0,25)

Mokum Events has excellent links with the nicest and best-known museums and attractions in Amsterdam. We can tap these on a regular basis and offer you very special tariffs for entry tickets and this is for your enjoyment! This will save you a lot of money and time!

Parking rates, environment trials and tribulations and arguments about who has to drive? No problem: “Mokum Events” offers you the opportunity to pick you up at your �home base� and to bring you, in a comfortable way, to Amsterdam, in order to join a Mokum Event. We do a lot of business with a number of very good and reliable coach companies and might well be able to make you an interesting offer. You can of course also book transfers within Amsterdam.

A good restaurant
Our own good experiences and long-term cooperation with the Amsterdam hotel and catering industry enables, “Mokum Events” to offer you an interesting variety of excellent restaurants. These restaurants are of course located in the nicest spots of Amsterdam, like the “Wallen” (Red-light district), the “Jordaan”, the Rembrandtplein, the Leidseplein and the Pijp. Whether you prefer Spanish tapas, Italian pastas, Mexican tortillas, Indonesian Ajam Smoor or Dutch hotchpotch; the possibilities are almost infinite!
All these selected restaurants have obviously good group facilities and serve special (and good!) group menus. The restaurants are suitable as a meeting place for a cup of coffee and cake, but of course, you can also enjoy there an extensive lunch and lovely diner.

In addition, if you want to, we also have presenters who will present and coordinate the whole evening for you. Whatever you choose!

A unique photo- and/or video report
“Mokum Events” has a lot of experience in organising trips and company parties in Amsterdam. We know that often, 1 and sometimes 2 participants are not able to enjoy the day completely, because they have to make photo- and or video reports. That is a pity and as from today no longer necessary!
“Mokum Events” offer you the opportunity to make use, at a very attractive rate, of our photographer and camera operator. You naturally set the duration and times: the whole day or just a part of it; whatever you choose! In this way, all participants can enjoy the trip and you will have a great document with all the highlights as well!

A clever parking advise
If you choose to make use of your own car, we would advise you to park on the P+R locations at the edge of the city. From these P+R locations you can easily travel with public transport to the city knowing that your car will be securely parked for 24 hours at only € 5,50 in a guarded area.

FAQ
1. Does “Mokum Events” only speak and guide the events in Dutch, or are other languages also available?
Our guides speak several languages, so almost all trips, excursions, guided tours and arrangements can also be followed in various languages.
2. Our group is smaller than the minimum number of participants, can I still join the event?
Yes, you can. However, since we commit ourselves for a minimum number of participants, we request you to pay this minimum rate. Please, contact us in advance!
3. Where in Amsterdam do the arrangements start?
Many trips start in the neighbourhood of the Central Station, but this depends completely on the chosen arrangement. Our employees will advise you in time the right point of departure.
4. Is my requested date available?
Through our systems, we can immediately check if your requested arrangement is available on the planned date. If it is, we will advise you to book as soon as possible, in order to avoid disappointments as much as possible.
5. What time do the “Mokum Events” start?
You specify this! This will however partly depend on the chosen arrangement, but in principle the events start whenever you want these to start!

Can we also join guided tours or workshops of other groups?
No, unfortunately you cannot. “Mokum Events” organises trips and arrangements exclusively for groups, completely tailored to specific desires. It is for that reason that other persons cannot join arrangements of other groups.

Do the trips also take place if the weather is bad?
Definitely! If it rains, we also go into town! We can arrange rain ponchos and umbrellas if necessary and can stay in the pub a bit longer. Amsterdam is also beautiful if the weather is less nice, believe us!
8. How can we go from place “a” to place “b”?
Our guides will take you from one point to the other (unless you only have to cover for example 100 meters). You will always receive an itinerary so that you will know where you have to go.
9. Are company trips and arrangements tax-deductible?
In general, all costs of a company trip are tax-deductible, however, only if these costs are reasonable according to the tax authorities. The treasury also states that 75% of the personnel must be able to join the event. These 75% may however also be made up based on a certain part or division of the company.
10. Can you send us a brochure or price list?
“Mokum Events” does not use brochures or price lists. We love to involve you in designing the ideal arrangement. Custom-made trips, remember? That is why we cannot quote fixed rates; after all, everything depends on your wishes and ideas! Our offer to you is a personal offer based on all your choices that can be made possible.
11. When do we have to pay our custom-made trip?
We will send you an invoice in advance, which has to be paid 7 days before the start of the arrangement at the latest.
