9 am - 12.30 pm Meeting ”Mokum Events” offers you the opportunity to meet in style at the Pulitzer Hotel in Amsterdam, which consists of 25 (!) authentic 17th and 18th century buildings fronting the canal! The Pulitzer is located at the Prinsengracht, in the middle of that beautiful, great “Jordaan”. The real Mokum!
You will meet in one of the stylish, luxurious halls of the hotel. Each hall has its own special atmosphere, always comfortable and restful.
12.30 pm - 1.30 pm Sandwich lunch We will serve you an extensive sandwich lunch at the end of the morning session of your meeting. You may choose the venue, the meeting hall or in the Pulitzer Restaurant.
1.30 pm - 4 pm The meeting continues After lunch, you will continue your meeting again. Food and drinks will be available and served during the afternoon as well.
4 pm - 6 pm Jordan tour “Mokum Events” will start the cultural part of your meeting as soon as the chairperson has closed the meeting. Our experienced guides will take you for a walk through the “Jordaan”, one of the cosiest, most romantic and musical working-class area of Amsterdam. An area crisscrossed by narrow alleys, narrow streets and beautiful historical buildings: the Noorder- and Westerkerk (church), many hidden courtyards cosy shops, noisy pubs and crazy anecdotes.
6 pm - 7 pm Singing sentimental songs At the end of the tour we will take a seat at the table for the regulars in a delightful “Jordaan” pub. We will sing sentimental songs together! Imagine yourself to be Aunt Leen or Johnny Jordaan. We will supply you with the libretto filled with 40 famous and notorious sentimental songs and a real Amsterdam accordionist. All you need do is to bring and display your talent.
7 pm - 9 pm Dinner in restaurant LieveWe invite you to a typical Belgian restaurant.
Belgium, no country is so diverse! Flemish, French and German speaking, from the moor land of Limburg right up to the Flemish Ardennes, from polders to mountains, from sophisticated cities to vast forests, from peasants in blue overalls to coquettish ladies, from waterzooi (thickened, creamy soup-stew) to sausages from the Ardennes, from Adolphe Sax to Plastic Bertrand.
Above mentioned times are only an indication. Please remember…” Mokum Events” wouldn’t be “Mokum Events” if you couldn’t change or re-arrange the times and programs that follow the meeting. You may choose from an unlimited number of activities, events and tours such as for instance: treasure hunts, workshops and whatever else we offer. You can vary and combine all your arrangements almost ad infinitum. Nothing is impossible!
