9 am - 12.30 pm Meeting ”Mokum Events” has discovered a remarkable meeting venue in the middle of the centre of Amsterdam: in a cookery school kitchen! It has a welcoming atmosphere is spacious and is fitted with all the modern equipment. In addition, it is very suitable for a special gathering!
Included in the meeting: as much coffee, tea, all-butter biscuits, water, soft drinks as you want and an extensive lunch. Guests receive: pens, notepads and peppermints.
12.30 pm - 1.30 pm Lunch We will, soon after the morning , enjoy an extensive lunch.
1.30 pm - 3.30 pm Continuation of meeting The second part of the meeting will start soon after lunch.
3.30 pm - 5 pm Walk through the real Mokum The chairperson will close the meeting at the end of the afternoon. This will be a good opportunity to stretch your legs and to get a breath of fresh air. Our professional l guide will walk you through the heart of Old Amsterdam. You will walk along canals; the cities’ origin” and through the world-famous Mokum working-class area, the “Jordaan”. Your guide will tell you about the old landmarks , remarkable events and prominent inhabitants of Mokum.
5 pm - 9 pm Cookery Workshop After the walk we will return to the cookery school for dinner. The difference is that you have to prepare your own dinner! The professional cook will explain to you the menu and supervise your work… As a team, you will gather and prepare the various parts of the menu. Delicious, fun and instructive! You will learn all about the special ingredients and various cooking methods. When the entire menu is ready, you yourself will serve it to your group ; they will judge your cooking….! Over a good glass of wine the food on the menu will be eaten and tested. A great end to an eventful day in Amsterdam!
