Rembrandt Tour Amsterdam
Rembrandt, you probably heard of him by now! The most wonderful creator of portrets of people from the 17th century! During this tour you will learn all the details about this great masterpainter!
Rembrandt is of course the most famous Dutch painter. Although he was born in Leiden, he is inextricably bound to Amsterdam where he lived and worked from 1631 until his death in 1669. His life in Amsterdam and the masterpieces he created, happened exactly at the same time that Amsterdam experienced its biggest boom. This tour will take you past the places he lived, worked and tries to give, in a chronological order, an idea of the progress in his life and art of painting in Amsterdam. We will also follow the history of his two biggest assignments, the Night Watch and the anatomic lesson of Jan Deyman,
