10.00 am - 12.00 pm Cool Courtyards Mokum Events will take you to the ever popular Jordaan and will make sure that you will enjoy the old hidden courtyards. We will go to Sint-Andrieshof, the Claes Claeszhofje, the Karthuizerhofje and the Raepenhofje.
Experience the atmosphere of ages ago and how the poor elderly people used to live. The peace there, in the middle of the city, will surprise you!
12.00 pm - 1.15 pm High Tea In the afternoon we will have a wide-ranging High Tea in a restaurant, selected especially for you.
1.30 pm - 4 pm Old Amsterdam No, dear reader, this has nothing to do with cheese! You will get to know the old Mokum; such as it was hundreds of years ago. Only a small section has slightly changed since. We will take you to the VOC times. Your group will be split into teams of 5-8 people. Armed with an old city map, each team will plan its own route through the area, around the Wallen (Red-light district) and from the Schreierstoren (tower) to the Rembrandtplein (square). Sounds easy, doesn’t it? Try to solve all the problems along your way and earn Old Dutch Coins in the process. At the end of the day, whist enjoying a drink, we will decide, based on the number of gained Dutch Coins, whether it was easy or not.
Above mentioned times are only an indication. You don’t have the required minimum number of participants? If you are prepared to pay for the required number, you can book for a lesser number of participants!
